The paper analyzes the structure and impact of the pream-ble on transmission efficiency within the MIL-STD-188-110D Appendix D standard for Wideband High Frequency communications. The study presents the characteristics of Waveform 0 and the relationship between preamble dura-tion and the number of superframe repetitions. Based on MATLAB simulation results, the probability of correct preamble reception was evaluated, and an optimization method for selecting the number of superframe repetitions was proposed to minimize transmission overhead.
